Just how lame is Sonic Foundry's registration scheme?

In a word it is a piece of crap!

Over an hour ago I used the HTML method to attempt to register using "another" computer. I'm still waiting, and waiting and still waiting for a response, any kind of a response from Sonic Foundry and I'm getting nothing. So I can't use Video Factory. No surpise, this same exact disaster happened twice before. Sonic Foundy ignored me then and they are ignoring me now.

Am I mad? I'm way beyond mad. How do you expect me to feel when three times in six months the stupid half-ass registration schme fails and three times in six month I lose a whole weekend all because Sonic Foundry refuses to correct this glaring mistake and I'm locked out from using software I paid for.

I still don't have any unlock code that works.

I upgrade to a newer version of Video Factory it fails to accept the old unlock code of the previous version.

I upgade to a newer build, it fails again.

I upgrade my operating system and guess what, Video Factory is the only software that crashes and no surpRise after reinstalling I'm locked out again.

I have over a dozen unlock codes that don't work. So obviously the unlock scheme don't work, no surprise, or it requires human intervention and no surprise again, another weekend and nobody home at Sonic.

I normally would not make such a big deal of this but this is the THIRD time I've suffered through a major inconvenience all because of the total incompetence of Sonic Foundy being uable to provide its customers with a registration schme that works for everyone. It may work for some, it has NEVER worked correctly for me. It isn't working now, it didn't work when I first upgraded to version 2, it didn't work with version one.

What is wrong with Sonic Foundry for not fixing such a stupid scheme?

I know some people at Sonic Foundry will read this come Monday. I hope they finally realize how dumb a registraton scheme they have and how angry they make their customers. Make that their X-customers!
