Render all your songs as MP3 files (although, you've probably already done this), then burn them to a DVD as a data disc. You won't be able to do this with any of the SONY Media software, but you should have gotten some sort of burning software with your DVD recorder that includes the ability to create a data disc.

Just a suggestion, but you may want to create subdirectories instead of storing all 500 files in the top level directory. Most DVD players don't have a very graceful directory display and browsing through long lists of files can be cumbersome. If you create separate directories for each artist/genre/etc. then you can find the songs you're looking for easier.
