I have a JVC video camera model number GR-SMX525U and I was wondering if I that camera is capable of uploading footage onto my computer and editing it with this software program. Thanks, Seth

Hi Seth,

If your camera can play a tape to a video monitor with audio, you probably can.

If your camera has a IEEE 1394 port, even better. You probably won't need more than a IEEE 1394 OHCI compliant PCI card in your computer.

If your camera doesn't, you will also need a converter to go from A/V to 1394.
