"" Tim has actually/is actually leaving BorisFX for another video software manufacturer, so I doubt you'll be hearing from him here again, unless it's to say goodbye. And from his mails, he's not leaving because he's unhappy, or anything else. Hopefully this post will dispel any rumors of that before it happens. Sometimes opportunity knocks, and you gotta answer when it does.
(Filmy, nothing aimed at you. I hadn't even read your post, only the first one in the thread was read\) ""
Hey all, thanks for the advice and thanks for the support.
First off, Tim Wilson is a pillar in the community, I wish I had his stature.
I, however am Tim Doyle, nearly the same.. but different. First off I am a sales guy. Tim W was a marketing guy.. Both jobs are sales positions.. none of us would be paid if the product did not sell.
BOOH BOOH you say- sales guys are all the same... Booh booh he is advertising..
Well yes, this can be true... I want you to know I am a sales guy, and I want you to know the straight line from this company.
How the Boris tools work, how the Boris stuff gets to you, so you can make it work. these are all I want to impart.
I am a sales guy but I am honest. Replying as a 'Avid_Fan_of_Red'.. that is dishonest in my book. I think there is a value to being honest with users. I am reading some posts here that many of you guys agree. This forum is for helping people in the community.. and that's really all I want. I'm not going to advertise. I only answer questions.. the questioning of my motives counts. So good call.
Please continue to keep me in line.
Tell me what will help you all, tell me what you dislike. I will get it done if I can.
Any questions or additional advice... the other post has my vitals.. give a call. If you strongly feel I should keep out of your space.. give a call. I'm not here to violate anything.
