Keeping Video/Audio together

kimandfil wrote on 9/21/2008, 9:23 AM
Hello,

I have a couple of clips where the audio and video have become separated. When I click on the video and try to move it, the audio does not move with it.

I thought maybe the "Ignore Event Grouping" feature might have something to do with this, but this feature is turned OFF for the clips in question.

Sorry I'm such a beginner. What am I doing wrong. Would appreciate any help.

Thanks !

For some reason your video and associated video are not grouped. When they are synchronized highlight both the audio and the video and type "G" (Group). Now they will move together (unless you press the ignore grouping icon).

Well, you could always Group the audio & video by clicking on the video, which highlights it, then hold down Shift and click on the audio and hit G, for Group.

You can Group a lot of clips together by doing this.

Check to see if your Ripple is off, because you can Ripple one track at a time.
