Can anyone give me any clues as to what may be happening? I get the following everytime I click
on Vegas Audio to start up. I get nothing but the following: (Acid and Siren both work fine still)

These errors are often tough to troubleshoot and rarely
respond to anything but drastic action in my experience ...
but hopefully you will have better luck.

First, try uninstalling, then rebooting and reinstalling
Vegas. If the problem persists, and because of the lack of
confidence when these types of errors start with a specific
program, my next step is usually to reformat and reinstall
the OS, then install the software.

While most of them have never been much help to me, there
are some kernel32.dll trouble shooting tips in Article ID:
Q190517 at MSFT Knowledge Base.

Good luck.

well...I uninstalled and then reinstalled to no avail.
Can anyone help with suggestions? or at least any possibilities to investigate?

This problem is usually a copy protection problem that
sonic foundry built into Vegas. I believe there's
something written into your registry that will cause this
error to occur. The only way to probably fix this would be
to clear your entire system and start fresh. Or if you're
good with registry editing then you could try this. Even
doing all this, if you're running a cracked version of
Vegas, you will run into this problem in the future. So if
you're in fact running a cracked version, I would suggest
you find a better crack or pay for Vegas.

I do have a registered and paid for version of Vegas.
It only started recently and I don't know why.
I have noticed two things. It appears to be a vbs problem.
In my Sonic Foundry folder, there is a VBScript file called Gogeta1
and in my Vegas folder another one called Pyramid.
Does this give any insight?
