Keyboard shortcut for Shuffle Tool?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch between the Normal Edit Tool and Shuffle Tool?

I know I could use the shortcuts for the menu to achieve but I would need the combination Alt-E-E-H select it then Alt-E-E-N to revert back. But I would prefer a direct shortcut.

@Illusion - Man, I know exactly what you’re after this so very close to something I requested sometime back. One of our esteemed Scripting Gurus provided me with a “workable” solution. It’s not straightforward and required an extra layer of Setup for it. Try searching here.

I use CTRL-SHIFT-3 for Shuffle in each group, especially Global.

@Illusion, if you just need the shuffle tool occassionally once in a while (that is, if you're not shuffling 20 events one after the other or something), then use the right mouse button to drag the second event onto the first event. When you release the right mouse button, choose Shuffle Events from the context menu. You can do that very quickly.

@gary-rebholz Yes, thank you, this one is very clever, perfect for occasional. This is what I use when I need to shuffle only one.

It is those little tools than makes Vegas so much enjoyable to use.

@Robert Johnston Thanks!, this is exactly what I needed. I assigned Edit.Tool.Shuffle to a combination and Edit.Tool.Normal to another one. Problem I had was I was able to go to shuffle but using the key assigned to Edit.Tool.Normal, it would not revert to normal, it would stay to shuffle. However, assigning Edit.Tool.Trim did the trick!

Thanks, now I am able to switch to shuffle with a shortcut and revert to normal with another one!
