Is there a keyboard shortcut (or a customization) that allow to select the event under the playhead, assuming a track is selected in the track list? I am using VP18.

There is a set of SelectEvent scripts in the HappyOtterScripts Free Tools Library that can be found here. https://tools4vegas.com/library/ They include selecting events before, under, and after the timeline cursor.
