Keyboard shortcuts not working

I'm having trouble with keyboard shortcuts behaving strangely. Specifically, cursor movement does not work as advertised.

Alt + Left or Right Arrow moves one frame at a time as advertised.
Ctrl + Left / Right Arrow moves to markers as advertised.

But........

Left or Right Arrow moves one frame at a time instead of one pixel at a time.
Ctrl + Alt + Left / Right Arrow moves to Home / End instead of event edit points - which is what I am really after.

F3 / F9 Jog left / right - not sure what that means but these keys move one frame at a time.

This is strange behavior that I have not noticed in other applications.

Left and Right arrow movement is based on the timeline zoom level. If you are zoomed way out on a timeline, it should move more than one frame.

"Ctrl + Alt + Left / Right Arrow moves to Home / End instead of event edit points - which is what I am really after."

You need to have the track highlighted that you want to move to the edges of the events. If you are on a track that has no edits or edges. it will act as you describe.

Thank you, DaveT2.

You are right. Highlighting the track makes it work properly. That will save me so much time. And the timeline zoom level does indeed affect the arrow key movement.

These things do not seem obvious nor are they explained in the keyboard shortcuts. Thanks again for helping out.
