KEYFRAME Controller not working

i followed the steps in the guide on how to use the feyframe controller. it examples the black and white thing and i did that perfectly once. i tried it again on something different and now my keyframe controller doesnt change the efffects. can anyone help

Try to press "Show me how" and do precisely as shown under "How to crop, scale and rotate".

It works - each and every time :-))

ok that helped a little but now how do i make it like fade to red during it?

If I understand the question correctly then put a Generated Solid Color red in the track below.
Then fade the track over - and everything turns red....
