Keyframe controller vanished

This may be a stupid question... In the Video Event FX window, I can no longer see the keyframe contoller below the various fx parameter settings; how did I do this (so I dont do it again) and how can I restore it

Grab the bar at the bottom of the fx window and drag it up.

--or--

Hold down CTRL+SHIFT while clicking on the icon to open the program.
This resets everything to factory defaults.
