Keyframe in transistion effect

I am new to Vegas 5.0 and have a question. How do we use Keyframe controller to add special effect to a transistion effect. I tried to change some first keyframe and next keyfame and I do not know how to use them. would you help and explain to me thanks.

Basically the idea behind keyframes is very simple. You set a keyframe where you want something to start, a ending keyframe where you want something to end. The keyframe controller has two important areas. Where you set the keyframes and the work area where you change the frame how you want it to appear by adjusting the handles of the bounding box.

Vegas can fill in the intermediate frames or you can tinker youself.
