if u want to load your preview just select a zone

like this and press " shift B " it will load your preview. ( it's limited to few seconds, so if you want to preload your entire timeline, i think, you can't )

Hi Nath.veg
Just to be clear, are you talking about adding Key-Frame points to an Audio Volume Envelope?
I am not seeing any dramatic increase in CPU load when I move a key-frame on an audio volume envelope.
Can you provide a screen shot and/or more details about your computer and project?

Salut Nath.veg.

Hello, so basically yes, it’s when I create a keyframe—when I move it, I feel like the little animation when the cursor hovers over the key is what causes the mini freeze. Maybe you don’t notice it because you’re not working on a big project, but on a 50GB project with effects/zooms/+20 music tracks, it gives me a small lag that wasn’t there on Vegas Pro 21.

Thanks for reporting back @Nath.veg with more detailed information. Now that I have a fuller picture, I can ask around some other power users and see if their seeing the same thing.

I have a few more questions for you, to try and narrow down the conditions that cause this:
1. Do you see the same mini-freeze if you start a new test project and use one video only with no effects added (only Volume Envelope)? Just a tiny test project.
2. What model CPU and GPU do you use?
