Keyframe types

I have to do a simple montage of pictures in Vegas 6 quickly. I normally don't do that kind of stuff in Vegas, and it's been a while since I've used it to keyframe. Anyway, all I want is steady motion from one marker to the next, none of this speed up and slow down stuff from right clicking (smooth, sharp, fast, etc.). How do I make it without all this various motion? I want it to start and stay one speed until the end.

Leave the type as smooth and set the smoothness to 0.000.

Is there any way to make the 0.000 smoothness default, so I don't have to change hundreds of keyframes?

Question: If you're doing a "simple montage" in Vegas, why do you need all the keyframes. I must be missing something.

The default key interpolation is 0.00 you can set it to 100. In options, preference, automation tab
your pan and zoom key frame interpolation will have little effect if your media or instances are varying in lengths

for a constant observable motion feel, the photos would have to be the same length on the timeline, which you also set in pref tab
so any constant smooth motion will be set in timeline space between keys = time as well as interpolation
your audio will affect the visual perception if the audio increases in volume and pace the visual perception will seem as if it is doing the same

Lynn the keyframes will be for any movement inside the media = pan and zoom or outside the media in your environment using the track motion window
So you might want to reduce the track size window in proportion to introduce it to an environment with a very slight movement
on the environment or on the media

Compared to some montages I have to do for work sometimes, I consider it basic what I'm doing now.

I'm using V6 and I don't see anywhere to change the interpolation, just 2 checkboxes and a device list. Thanks.

If you right click on a keyframe the interpolation choices are a dropdown.
