keyframe wipe effect

Is it possible to keyframe a linear wipe effect in Vegas 6.0 to control the speed of the effect at different times .( first 5 second, wipe fast, then pause for 1 seconds, and finally wipe the rest slowly to sync with the narration)

Try right clicking the transition and choose Insert Transition Progress envelope, if you are talking about controlling the behavior of a single transition.

However, it sounds like you want automated transitions throughout a project. I know of no way to do that.

Thanks for your input. II did insert envelop transition progress but it only control one steady speed of the transition. Any plugin I can use

After you insert the envelope transition progress envelope, double-click on the line you see to add nodes (points). Drag these up/down to alter the speed of the transition.

For the effect you want, try 200% for fast. 0% for pause and 33% for slow.

100% is normal speed.
