keyframes within the text generator?

In response to my question and someone's response...

I guess then I'm confused on setting keyframes in the text generator section. If I want text to scroll from left to right...then I need to set keyframes, right?

When I set the keyframes, I don't know how to make text move from one point (or one keyframe) to another. How/where do I get and set the keyframes for text stuff?

Sorry I'm kind of an idiot with this stuff...I don't mean to be frustrating... :-)

Ryan,

It works the same way that pan/crop does.

Click on the first keyframe, 'grab' the text, and postion it where you want.

Repeat with each keyframe.

Cheers,

The "grabbing" is in the Placement tab in the Text Generator

I use text placement for small moves and pan/crop (or 3D LE) for big moves. Going from outside left side to outside right is a big move.

Moving on up....to the east side to a deluxe apartment in the sky is also a big move. It means you got a piece of the pie.
