Knowledge Base - Valuable

I've been using Vegas since version 4. Today, I have been spending time going through the Vegas knowledge base (put your mouse on the "Support" menu item at the top of this page, it's the first selection).

I have used it before searching for specific items, but I today I have been browsing all the listings titles and viewing the detail of specific topics I need info/refreshers in. I learned a lot more today that I can use in practice. And I'm only on page 12 of 20 Vegas pages.

So many of the topics cover the basics asked on this board weekly. Very clear, concise information is provided.

New Vegas users, you should review every one of the topics. Sony, why not make a board "Sticky" reminding people of the link? Thanks for the "remembered" resource.

I think 3 stickies are enough, no?

Douglas you are correct. By proliferation when do stickies become a long list of what is, after all, a KB? I agree. My point was about Knowing I can use the KB for stuff I've forgotten about PLUS needing to actually delve further into an issue. Wood and Trees .. wood and trees . .

I guess this is where you've got to on the VASST site with the ease of use of keywords and the like. With the advent of the INTERNET, managing, holding and retrieving information has gotten ( or is that "got"? )even more critical. I guess as we all become even more sophisticated, specialised and complex in our short time on this planet, we also leave behind an even greater burgeoning legacy of the same - more information, more complexity and so on.

Interesting . .
