Im not sure is it because of my laptop or what, but if I type & search for FX or Transitions in VEGAS Pro it will freeze for a moment & become laggy. Same thing happens if I scrolling through the Project media. Its like a hiccup.
This lag happen on both VP16 & VP17 . Both version running on latest build.
My Laptop specs
Intel i7 7th Gen
GPU GTX1060 Max HQ
16GB of RAM

It will happen every single time I go to project media/type for FX in search box
could be a bottleneck with your hard drive not being able to seek the data it needs fast enough... are you using a lot of files in your project media and do you have a lot of effects installed for it to search through? I've heard complaints of slow fx searches before, but not as much about project media.

I always seperate my project in a different internal HDD partition. Around 500GB of spaces. I don't think thats the problem. I've edited from external SSD, VEGAS will get that lag hiccups.

well, seems like Magix should fix this bug @fr0sty
