Laptop suggestion

I am considering buying a laptop for work in the field,,, I am looking at a Fujitsu 3.2 GHz / 80 GB hard drive / 1GB Memory / Radion 9600 64mb video card / 16" crystal view screen or maybe at a sony VIAO K series. I don't want to spend over $2,000.

With the Fujitsu I can attach an additional monitor + Walkman 900, Shuttle Pro and my NNovia external drive... seems like a pretty sweet setup...

Any suggestion? Just wanna make sure I get a good machine for field work.

Sounds like the Fujitsu should work fine. I have a Compaq AMD 64 3200 512 RAM 80 gig drive 1394 NVidia graphics 15.4" screen with the ability to add another monitor and I love it.
I'm working on weddings that have up to 3 hours of footage and I load it all up with no problems.
The wireless internet is cool too!
