By the way, 1.69GB is really small for 118 minute DVD format file. You must have used a much lower bitrate than recommended, around 1.95Mbps or so? For a file that long i would have encoded around 5Mbps.
Very Astute (sp?). Yes.. originally I used the DVD A settings in Vegas, but the file wound up being way too large..somewhere between 8-14 GB. Since this is only for content review I thought I'd dial it down a notch to make sure it fit, 1,68 should be plenty small...but DVDA still won't burn it.

Use the DVD A render template in Vegas, but then click on "properties" to set the bit rate before rendering. As suggested, about 5 Mbps would be optimum. You can choose between fixed rate and average for variable rate. In the latter case set the maximum to say 8 Mbps and the minimum to say 3 Mbps.
