Large Green Arrow

OK, it's late and I just can't find the answer in the V4 manual. While I was inserting marker notes using M on the keyboard, I hit some other key and it inserted a large green arrow on top of the timeline and pointing downward. It's about twice the size of a normal orange marker. What is this? I can't seem to do anything with it.

Can you take a screen shot and send it to me - or post it on the web - so we can see what you mean? In the mean time, I'm going to try and recreate the issue.

Reverse that - I took a screen shot of what I think you are talking about.

You can see it by clicking here.

If this is what you are talking about - then you created a region. Just right click it and choose delete.

If this isn't it - then maybe you can do a screen shot so we know what it looks like.

Hope this help.

Thanks kameronj. Your right, it was a region. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I must have accidentally inserted it with the R key. Obviously I'm still on the learning curve for Vegas and haven't used regions yet. And the picture in the book never shows the start and end markers together forming what appears to be a solid arrow when inserted without a time selection.

No sweat.

Glad the information was useful.
