While using "mask" in media generator, the new added effects, like a lasersword is not stored. So when video is finished only the last added effect is actually part of videomovie?
Thank you for answer thus far! I use Sony vegas Pro 15. But from youtube, all versions from 9 to 15 seems to work the same way.
I import a video. Then I "insert video track" - media generator - solid - white - "Event pan/crop". (Event pan/crop is part of "Video Event FX"). I then choose "Mask" - anchor creation tool - Make 4 points - normal edit tool. - Next I mark at same point where lightsaber is in video.
Thing is, inside "event pan/ crop" when I scroll next frames, neither do I seem to have keymarkers and the video itself does not move frames ahead. I may do "next frame" in the main menu, but when I then move my anchor points so as to fit to where the lightsaber has moved to, the former lightsaber points are lost.
If you may youtube "how to make ightsaber in sony vegas", you will find that all uses the same method. However I have seen at least one other youtuber with the same problem that I have. So I wonder what goes wrong here?
You mean the export/render process? This depends on how/where the video is meant to be used. More or less common standard for web and media player usage nowaday is an HD version of MP H.264 which you would access via "Magix AVC/AAC MP4" in the Vegas Pro render window.
May I please also ask if different chroma-key can be used for each frame of the video? Also, the extra splitscreen where I see the actual video while adding effects somethimes disappear, how may I get it back? So Sony vegas cannot read all file-types it can save? During rendering, sometimes the renderbutton is not clickable, even though I have chosen a template?
