élastique Pro in 9.0c - Thank you!

Since I record all my music in Vegas now and sometimes use Acid loops, this is a very welcome addition.

The other benefit is that I can use footage from my little Canon SX200 IS which is 30P only, set the playback rate to 0.8 making it 24P or 0.833 for 25P, and stretch the audio to match the new length using élastique Pro, and not get any artifacts like I used to with the old time stretch algorithms.

élastique is just unbelievable.
I have already used it since I own Sony Sound Forge 10.

Sorry, I know nothing about Elastic Pro. Can you tell me what it's key selling points are? Thanks.

Hey Kid (I always wanted to say that), it's not handled like a normal audio plugin.

You can find more info in the help file by doing a search on "elsastique" and then twirl down "Time-Stretch or pitch-shift an audio event."

Here's the quick 411 on it:

- Find the audio track you're working on, then right-click on it.
- on the Audio Event Tab, elastique is under the METHOD tab (under the time stretch/pitch shift part at the bottom of the window).

It's pretty straight forward, and not the graphic interface those of us fortunate to have Sound Forge 10 get to use. :-)
