Launch DVD Architect Studio

I've changed computers from HP with Windows XP to Dell with Vista. I've loaded both Vegas Movie Studio+DVD software and DVD Architect Studio software on the new PC. Vegas Movie Studio+DVD runs nicely however when I attempt to Make A Movie DVD Architect Studio does not launch. I get a window that asks me to “Please Register DVD Architect Studio 4.5”; when I click NEXT the window closes and nothing happens, I'm back at the window to “Send to DVD Architect Studio”.
Also I cannot open DVD Architect Studio directly. However if I Run dvdarchst45.exe as administrator the application opens but does not talk to Vegas Movie Studio+DVD ie: I cannot move a project from Vegas Movie Studio+DVD to DVD Architect Studio. I have confirmed that the Security Permission Setting for dvdarchest45.exe is "Full Control".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I haven't an answer to your problem but for what it's worth, I never, ever use the Make A Movie option in VMS. You've virtually no control over the rendering settings. Much better to 'Render As' the timeline in VMS then import the resulting files into DVDAS.

I would uninstall both programs and reinstall them as an Administrator.

If they can't talk to each other, then something didn't register right.

Uninstall DVDA, run CCleaner to remove registry entries. Reboot to safe mode and try to install there.
