launching Vegas Pro has bad impact on thirdparty applications

Hello,

I have new PC and new fresh install of Windows 11 (24H2 package).

I have noticed that while launching Vegas Pro 22, my YouTube video that is currently playing in web browser, it stops playing.

I also have noticed that while launching Vegas Pro 22, Tidal (music streaming software) returns error NPD04, and a song wchich is currently playing in Tidal, stops playing.

This werid behaviour has bad impact also on Medial Player Classic and video or audio which is currently playing.

Do you know how to fix this weird behaviour in Vegas Pro?
I tried to change Audio settings in Vegas, but none of these settings I modified helped.

One possibility is that your computer's audio settings allow the first program opened to take total control of audio playback and therefore block everything else.

In the Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound/Sound/Manage audio devices and then select the relevant Playback item and then select the Advanced tab. Uncheck any Exclusive Mode checkboxes and then hit Apply and OK.

This should allow the computer to playback audio from multiple sources rather than limiting audio playback to the first opened app/program.

Having said this, I can't recall that video playback was ever affected by the above in the past - just audio playback.

I had to change my output audio device. Now I use spdif tonsil cable out audio on my PC which is connected with DAC Sankirt 6h series. I unchecked the Exclusive Mode checkbox for Realtek Digital Output (Realtek USB Audio), but unfortunately when I launch Vegas Pro 23 and listen to music in the same time, there is short silence break during launching Vegas Pro.

I don't know how ti fix it.

I wonder if the Realtek exclusive mode setting ripples through to Windows sound settings. To check this, go to Windows System>Sound window and click on 'More Sound Settings' which opens on older-style Windows sound window. Select the Realtek listing from the Playback tab and then click on Properties - this opens a properties window. Click on the Advanced tab and make sure that 'Exclusive Mode' is unchecked - and probably the 'Signal Enhancements' as well.

My computer also uses Realtek and is connected to a Yamaha amp via an optical cable. While playing back some music from Sound Forge, there was no interruption to that music while Vegas Pro 23 was opening. Perhaps the problem lies with the way the DAC Sankirt receives digital signals - but in regard to that I really have no idea.

As I mentioned before, all of above tips didn't work on my PC. Turning off these checkboxes you have mentioned didn't solve my issue.

I think I solved the issue on my PC.

I did a few more things, maybe someone who has the same issue will do the same things and solve the issue too:
a) I uninstalled Realtek Audio Console software - I am not sure if it was needed

b) I change in Vegas Pro Preferences> Audio Device tab>Audio device from "Windows Classic Wave Driver" into "Microsoft Sound Mapper"

Initially, I did step a), then step b), that's why maybe uninstalling Realtek Audio Console was unnecessary, because after doing step b) the my interrupting audio issue was gone.
