LCD for NTSC Monitor?

Anyone have experience using a LCD (vs. CRT) for external ntsc tv monitor? I'd like to add an external ntsc monitor and wondering if there is a viable alternative to traditional CRTs. There seems to be several LCD's now available with built-in tv tuners and assorted analog inputs, e.g., Samsung 170mp, Zenith L15V26C, that look like they could work for this application. Pro or cons?

One very big con: since the purpose of the external TV monitor is to let you see what your video is going to look like to your audience, you want to use a device that resembles your audience's viewing device. If you're producing for television then probably most of your audience will be viewing on TV sets. Therefore, your external monitor should be a TV set.

If, on the other hand, you're producing for an audience that will mostly be viewing on LCD monitors then using LCD would be a good choice.
