LCD monitor for HVD field previewing

This may be a stupid question or answered before, but I can't find the answer in posts or the HDV faq.
Everyone says focus for hdv is a little harder than dv b/c of the increased resolution. Therefore, a good field monitor seems very crucial. So you could use the HP L2335 with its component inputs to view in HD resolution stuff from one of the Sony HDV cams?
Thanks for any help!

As long as it has component inputs, it should work fine with an HDV camera. Of course, for highest resolution, the LCD monitor should be able to handle 1920x1080 video. Not too many of them currently do.

As far as focusing being harder, it certainly is more critical. The FX1 and the Z1U both have a feature by which it zooms into the center 25% of the image which, along with the "peaking" feature, will make it much easier to make critical focus adjustments.

Thanks for the help. The HP 2335 has 1920x1200 resolution, so that shouldn't be a problem. It's not exactly what I would call cheap, but a whole lot less than the $3000 lcd that was problably around 10" that I saw at a local production company the other day. Maybe it was battery powered though.
