Length of Movie

Okay I have a Video File about two minutes long and I have a Photoshop Logo that I want to superimpose over the video. As I drag the Photoshop File into the timeline, it's duration is about 5 seconds. I have to drag it all the way to the length of the video file. Is ther a way to have the Photoshop file automatically take up the lenght of the entire movie without dragging it.

If you know the exact length of the movie you can tell Vegas to make all stills that default length in the options. But, then all still would be that length. So it's easiest to drag.

There's always the Duration Wizard in Excalibur.

You can use the Edit Details view to cut and paste the Length from the long event to the short (still photo) event. You can click on the column headings to sort by Start time, for instance, to make it easier to determine which events you are copying and pasting.
