licence re-assignment

I have a client for my older V7 licence (qualifying for the 9 upgrade); where can I find a description of the procedure I need to follow in order to transfer this licence to him (I'd like to send him the link, so that he can make sure the transaction is legal and he will be able to upgrade)?

It's in the knowledge base, but i'm having no luck searching for it at the moment. If you search the forum for 'transfer license' you'll find many discussions, most with a link to the knowledge base article.

Keep in mind that a license can only be used for the upgrade discount once. If you upgrade your version 7 license to a newer versoin then your client won't be able to. He'll have to pay full price to get an upgrade.

when you file a support ticket there's an option for a transfer.

As I couldn't find it in the Knowledge Base, I did file a support ticket, but I wonder when SCS will answer :)

As the client is only interested provided he will be able to upgrade it before end of June, I'd appreciate it very much if someone tells me what the procedure is; TIA

if you already upgraded that copy of V7 (well, that SN) then it doesn't qualify to the upgrade pricing.

Yeah, I realize that. Never upgraded using that number.

OK, problem solved - SCS support has been very quick this time.

For those who want to know - I was offered the possibility to simply provide my client's data (name and address), as well as the S/N of the licence being transfer, within the very support incident I opened on the matter for SCS to take care of...
