The number of markers is not limited. The number of NUMBERED markers is limited. With the NUMBERED markers, you can type in that number and jump directly to that marker. For example, with that project with over 100 markers on the timeline, type 82 (using the numbers above the keyboard). You should jump straight to the marker numbered 82. This feature only works for the first 99 markers.
Is there a script that will put a marker at each file on the timeline. For example, I have a timeline with 25 different videos and want a marker to signify the next video to mark as chapters? Also, anyway to pass markers on to WM9 or H.264 AVC?

Both Ultimate S and Excalibur can do this.

Ultimate S will also add the label Chapter # where (#) is a sequential number (i.e., Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.) You can control the label name. (it doesn’t have to be Chapter, you can change it to Scene or any other words)
