Limited to 3 Video Tracks Only?

I am trying to make a number of things, 1 in particular is a cool 3d Text intro with some cool effects but now it can't be as cool as I would like it because of only 3 video tracks. Why did Sony limit this to only 3 Video Tracks? Is there any way around this? Kind of puzzling why Sony did this.... I guess to make us buy Vegas 8? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The "Movie Studio" versions are limited to FOUR video tracks (If you're only seeing 3, you can add one more)

The "Pro" versions have unlimited tracks. If you need more than 4, upgrade to the pro version. There's a LOT more you'll gain as well.

Jet means that Vegas Full has unlimited video tracks. Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pro still only has 4 video tracks. Adding the word 'pro' to the VMS line was Sony's second marketing mistake of 2008. (Sony's 'first' marketing mistake in 2008 was not the lower the price of the PS3 ...)

You might take a look at "Bluff Titler'. Its a standalone where you can create your outstanding (or cheesey) 3D titles and then impoort them into Vegas on one track./

Bluff Titler is a great program. I own it and use it myself. Well worth to pay what they ask for it.

If you still want to do it in VMS with only 4 video tracks .. you always can use those 4 tracks to do part of what you want. Render them out to avi. Import them (as a single track) in a new project and use the other 3 tracks to finish up your project.
