Yes, I've used it. Well worth the $300 price tag. Sounds
good, and very easy to use. Probably one of the better amp
simulators I've heard. Someday I might even buy one, but
then I would have to throw away all the cool amp micing
techniques that I've developed over the years.

I can highly recommend the Pod. It's truly amazing and has
a lot of power if you hook up the computer control
software. Lot's of people who are good at the fine art of
mic'ing real amps and cabs will say it's not the same
(which is true) mostly because you don't have infinite,
subtle control over microphone and placement. But if you
want a great sounding direct box that let's you get tones
quickly and easily I would RUN to buy one. Plus their
simulations are very realistic (so much so that one of
their old Marshall tones sounds exactly like an old
Marshall that my friend used to play through, "Hey that's
Rob's amp!").
My 2 cents worth,
Brett

Brian,
Yes. Yes. I agree. I try my best to find answers in the
book, the online manuals, faq, etc. etc. but so often after
umpteen straight hours on VV, I just want to scream "how do
you ......".
I'd gladly pay for such a compilation. I think it would
help sell Vegas Video because it has so many incredible
features that I'm sure are never used since users don't
want to mess with figuring them out... or people just
trying out VV to compare it with other products dont have
the time to learn it and so they return to their old
product.
An advanced tutorial or "VV for dummies" would also be
great.
