I see this has not been answered.

The linear blur does not have a "Reset to none" preset. Even at the minimum settings there is still a small amount of blur applied. I don't know if this has been designed this way but it would be nice if the minimum setting would not affect the video, this way the Linear blur could be used on a track/video output fx and be keyframed.

Anyone on this ?

I found the same problem with some of the other Plug-ins. For example 'Sharpen' with amount '0' really means 'Add noticable sharpening'.

I also wanted to be able to use keyframing to turn effects on and off without having to break a video track into multiple pieces ONLY to avoid this feature.

What sense does it make to assign a value of '0' to a clearly 'non-zero' result? Would it make any sense for a color balance of '0' to mean 'add a color tint'?

I previously repoorted this behavior (with sharpen), but no change was ever made.

I will try to check each plugin for this behaviour and submit a bug report.
