Link text with video

Hi,

is it possible to link a video with a generated text or with another video or photo ? For example, I added a text to the center of a video. I want this video to move off the screen. I use the position keys. I would like the text to follow the video without having to create keys for the text because it's extremely long to repeat this operation.

thanks for your help.

And then this?

I would like the text to follow the video without having to create keys for the text because it's extremely long to repeat this operation.

It is easy, just use paste and copy event attributes:

First select your video or photo event (your clip) on the timeline with your left mouse button, next right mouse select copy (or CTRL-C), next select with left mouse your generated text on the timeline, next right mouse select PASTE EVENT ATTRIBUTES or if you want to only want to past some particular attribute (like pan crop), use SELECTIVELY PASTE EVENT ATTRIBUTES.

I have a video on the right side of the screen. I want to move it left 10 seconds later. For that, I use the keys by modifying the coordinates of position.

I have a text on this video "video 1" and i want this text follow the video when moving from right to left. For this I also create position keys to move the text with the video from right to left, as pasted together. I would like to know if it is possible to link this video to this text in order to avoid having to create these keys for the text

I use track keys to move my video and text. This method does not work :(

OK, you are possibly using track motion then, you may want to experiment with duplicate track, use parent track stuff or even try nesting with other project, sorry I do not have a solution just at hand.

yes but I was looking for a simple solution, tracking is too complicated and too long but thanks anyway.
