live capture

I want sony video capture to respond to the pause and record from the camera during live capture, any thoughts?

My thought is, probably not.

When i've done this i keep the laptop right next to me and use VidCap's controls rather than the camera's controls.

Both Adobe's OnLocation and Scenalyzer Live have that capability, but as far as I know, Vegas capture doesn't.
