Live recording - tracks appear truncated

VV3.0a - I'm having a problem with live recording where after a period of time Vegas truncates the display of the tracks I've recorded. This is often accompanied by some confusion in the displayed take name as well. The tracks are always fine on the disk but I have to manually stretch them to their full length to hear them. What would cause this? Is there a limit on recording length for a project that I should know about?

I saw something similar in VA2.0b a few months ago. I was recording a live concdert and at about 55 minutes into the recording the display quit updating and the tracks were covered with a very fine cross hatch. This happened twice the same night. I likewise was able to move the right end of the track further over to the right to expose what I thought hadn't been recorded.

I then upgraded to 2.0h and when playing "off the end" of those tracks I would get a segmentation fault. I have not had the segmentation fault in VV3.0a.

This was under W98SE, gadget labs (R.I.P.) wave 8/24. The resultant stereo .wav files were either 875mB. or 835mB long. Hope this helps.
