loading a big project in V60a takes forever

Is it just me, or does Vegas 6 have a hard time with the loading of large projects ?
I have a 45 minutes long project, made with V4 (hundreds of clips of course).
It was long to load in vegas 4, but it did it eventually (i'd say between 4 and 8 minutes long)
With v6, it seems that the % count of loading freezes somewhere between 30 and 50%.... and then nothing more for at least 15 minutes (I was not patient enough to go beyond that time limit and so I -several times- forced V6 to quit).
Did other people exeprience this behaviour too ?

An unsupported-in-V6 effect (say, for example, Satish's Wax plug-in) at that portion of the project file, perhaps?

im trying to find where is the problem... im using the same project with all media offline, It open, but the timeline is terrible slow... just to imagine, took 3 seconds to delete a video fom timeline... and during this, te vegas freeze... now im cleaning this project, it has 20 cuts of video, and simple crossfade, no other transitions/filters, , and IT STILL LOCK VEGAS WEN OPEN WITH VIDEOS "ONLINE"

While this certainly could be caused by the new release, I'd certainly take a look at plugins. The only instability I ever had in previous releases came from a plugin from one of the guys that provides freeware plugins for Vegas. I uninstalled, and the problems went away.

please people, get this zip with 2 projects, is just 2k of size

http://www.alphapro.com.br/v6slow.zip

the project "teste2" is te rest of the bugged project... it only has a video (use it offline) no filter, no transitions, nothing... the project "teste 3" is THE SAME video, time, configs... etc... i just make a same project... but look, the project teste2 is large, and try to move te video in timeline right an left... is so slow! the project teste3 is fine... i think the problem is in the "project saving algorithm" lets say.. :)

and the more amazing thing, if u replace the video of bugged teste2, the video comes with modified pan/crop!!!! (i never touch the pan/crop on that project... )

so... i think is not plugins... in fact, the fist time i got this errors, i think "some plugins are missing" , is was vegas alone, and the problem was already there.. may be some plugin "f**k" the project forever? even if removed????

I found out yesterday night something even weirder :
having tried one more time with no success to load an existing project in V6, I decided to close it, and to use V4 instead (not unistalled yet) to open this project, and then..... then, I experienced IN V4 the slow timeline problem that is reported by some here in V6 !!!
Moving along the timeline, deleting a signle clip was indeed sluggish, slow; as was the redrawing of the clips when going to an out-of-screen area of the project ...
I am sure that V4 never had this buggy behaviour on my PC before.....
Seeing this, I quit V4, shut down my PC, rebooted it, re-launched V4 and its behaviour had come back to normal (not slow, not sluggish).
This makes me wonder if something in V6 is not messing up the ram, or (something else) when launched.
Really seems that they should have wait a little longer to release this version (and/or me to buy it !)
Can someone confirm this v4 "infection" ?.
