there is no way to lock markers to events.

the way I do this, is first delete the event by single clicking on it and hitting delete. then double click the the blank space, or make a time selection, and then hit delete. the markers will then move in sync with the events.

if I just make a time selection without clicking any events, and hit delete, that also moves the markers.

it doesn't quite make sense to me, and I really think this functionality needs work. ripple edits and markers locking to events are two subjects that often come up here.

btw - to insert space and have all the markers move too, use Insert Time.

Newbie here. I have a 12 camera, 24 track audio project. I need to insert additional time [15 min.] front of the existing project. I used the Insert Time procedure, as per: the Help menu, and the VV3 manual. My markers do not move with the project. I've held off asking for help here, but need it now. Thanks!

Hi paulbeach,

You might try with ripple-mode active...

There is no way to always lock markers to an event, sorry.
