Lock to Stretch Pitch Change Script?

I posted not very long ago asking if anyone knew of a way to default the pitch change to "Lock to Stretch" and the answer was that you can't. What about a script? Is there a script anyone knows of that will look for stretched/compressed video and will automatically lock the pitch to the stretch? It would help me out a lot if someone knows of one out there.

In Preferences under the Editing tab there is an option to check "Preserve pitch when stretching audio events." Is this not the same as Lock the pitch?
