Locking envelopes (not to events but to level)

I know how to lock an envelope to an event in time, but is there a way to lock the automation envelopes. It is easy to accidentally grab one and move it up or down.

Go to VIEW>Video Envelopes (or audio envelopes) and uncheck the box for viewing. This will hide the envelope so you aren't accidentally keying it.
