locking in start point

I have set my loop point - the point where the buttons appear - but every time I return to the main menu (when editing), the start point becomes the loop point. I an go and move the black line back to the beginning of my background video, but any time I leave the main menu to edit another page, and return to the main menu, the start point is once again back at the loop point.

is there a way to lock in the start point so it will stop moving?

Have you tried setting it on the Menu Page Properties panel rather than using the green line on the Timeline?
