Hello everyone,
a problem from a partner in another state using Vegas 8.0 causes hanging up after closing down the program and attempting a restart. . .
No problems occur during the closing of the program . . . or anything causing the shutdown... just a simple close to take a break to return later in the day. Then again, I'm not sure if the program is restarted immediately or after a short break. . .

"Now all I have to do is figure out why when I do shut it (Vegas 8.0) down and then restart the program, it will hang on "Setting UI" and will not go to creating the windows. I have to shut down the computer and then restart it again in order to open the program."

Any ideas what causes such a problem and solutions to get it running again after closing it?
Of course, the obvious solution is that Vegas is such a wonderful program, an owner should never close it down. . . (grin)
I'll get further details as required . . . if it will help.
Thanks for any hints and tips - until that time. . . Earl J.
