I have VMS6.((..I know, it's "obsolete"....but it's been working great). I have a new HP Pavilion Elite HPE computer, AMD Phenom II, Windows 7, 64 bit, 8 GB Ram).
I have made a couple of DVDs sucessfully with this configuration. My current project is a slide show video with about 300 photos, music, etc. When I try to "save it to my hard drive" (rendering) . The "gauge" says that "time remaining is "0"..after about 10 minutes but it is only 87% or 89% (on three different tries). The program is then locked up and I have to shut down the computer and restart.
Any comments on what the problem could be?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
