Can anybody suggest a plugin that allows selected cloning/painting for in-frame editing, such as spot, scratch and fingerprint removal? Your suggestions would be immensely appreciated.

I am using Sony Vegas to correct bad color dye fading in historic films, and other repairs. This is a personal project of mine, using sanitized VHS tapes obtained from the federal government in USA.

Please look toward the bottom of the page. It will show examples of fingerprint smudges that I am trying to remove, in the explosion sequence, among other issues.

These were not done with Photoshop. Vegas was the essential tool.
