I'm trying to find where I can buy the tape which goes across the seams of a DVD case. I don't really care if it says anything or is printable, just can't find it. I've searched here, Google and DVD suppliers. I'm guessing I'm not calling it by the correct name.
I've always found it laughable that these are often placed on jewel cases. Completely ineffective - just ease the hinged tabs out, and let the lid pivot around the label.
Slightly better when used with the new DVD cases though.
I would also consider buying some 'shrink wrap' covers. Have a look here.
Thanks for the tips. I've seen the slip in jackets before. As far as the tape goes, I agree. One of the most annoying things invented. We've been having some of the DVD cases (don't use jewel cases for customers) open in shipping. No disks damaged, but not quite what I'd like either. Tried shrink wrap, but not happy with the quality nor what it did to the cases at times. Guess I'll try the tape even though I curse it myself.
