Thanks for that huge list!

I'll have to spend the week (1)Listening and (2)Seeking copyright clearance!

Certainly makes a change of pace from my normal 'wedding' fare!

Cheers

Don’t forget baggy trousers from madness

Naughty boys in nasty schools
Headmaster's breaking all the rules
Having fun and playing fools
Smashing up the woodwork tools
All the teachers in the pub
Passing round the ready-rub
Trying not to think of when
The lunchtime bell will ring again.

Oh what fun we had
But, did it really turn out bad
All I learnt at school
Was how to bend not break the rules
Oh what fun we had
But at the time it seemed so bad
Trying different ways
To make a difference to the days.

The headmaster's had enough today
All the kids have gone away
Gone to fight with next door's school
Every term, that is the rule
Sits alone and bends his cane
Same old backsides again
All the small ones tell tall tales
Walking home and squashing snails.

Chorus

Lots of girls and lots of boys
Lots of smells and lots of noise
Playing football in the park
Kicking push bikes after dark
Baggy trousers, dirty shirt
Pulling hair and eating dirt
Teacher comes to break it up
Back of the 'ead with a plastic cup.

I wouldn't use so many songs. How about these:

"Workin' 9 to 5" by Dolly Parton

"Hit the Road Jack" by Ray Charles

"Workin for a Livin" by Huey Lewis and the News

"You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor

"Thanks for the Memories" by Bob Hope

Sorry Grazie, I didn't read your post correctly. I see that you did say that in your intro.

Is this a male or female teacher. Or is it not PC to ask these days.

Edit: If she is female then Don't Forget to Remember by the Bee Gees is a real tear jerker. ;-(

So when you fold it out do you some times fall asleep on it Bob?

[Don't do it... don't press "Post Message", you're going to regret it... don't... no... you idiot]

Does anyone REALLY think that people are seeking copyright permissions for a non-commercial, private, one-time use of songs synced to photos for something like this? Does anyone REALLY think that the record companies would go after Wayne if he doesn't?

Lol.... . . Grazie

Uoh - is that a knock I hear on my door??

I do need to add that all of the music I use for my wedding shoots is strictly from the Smart Sound collection or Royalty free stuff that has been purchased, with good old Aussie dollars (that are now heading South!).

:o)

I was just busting chops here. And, Grazie, I assume that your "OF COURSE" was said tongue in cheek. I'm on the same page, Biggles... I won't dare use copyrighted music for a paid production such as a wedding, but I've used many a song for personal projects such as what you're describing.

Hold on, there's a knock on the door. I'll be right ba...

If you want straight music beds with no lyrics, check out stock20.com. Low cost and good quality. "Senior Year" might do the trick on their site. You can preview all of their music.

Well, I don't quite know how to admit this but...

I din't use one song that was suggested, but everyone got my creative juices really flowing and I had a ball (as predicted Grazie!)

All shots were stills and I used the UltimateS Photo Montage tab to get a bit of life into the sequence.
I started with shots of her as a little girl, through meeting her husband and having children (all photos sourced without her knowledge by husband and daughter). The shots thyen change to staff photos from the school. Music bed is Randy Newman singing 'Family' (from soundtrack of James and the Giant Peach).

Next group is shots of Chris at various staff informal functions and her and her husband on holidays. Sound bed is excerpt from Emilie Autumn's 'Girls just wanna have fun'.

The very last still was of Chris at the wheel of a sports car (MGA I think) so I used a 'Push left' transition to black with a suitable piece of 'goodbye' text following in after it. This was to another piece of music 'My wonderful car'.

So, there ya go - thanks again to everyone for being part of my project
