I am looking to replace DVD Studio Pro on Mac with a new PC and DVD authoring software that is as compatible as possible with former. An experienced user from another forum suggested Vegas DVD Architect. Has anyone tried this yet? If not, do you have any advice for me? (I hate to be so vague, but since I am not the end user, this is all I know. Please know that the PC will have all the latest and greatest in hardware resources and will be running the latest incarnation of Windows 10, 64-bit.)

Please let me know if further info is needed. Thank you to all in advance.

Are you getting rid of your mac?

You're posting your question to a DVD Architect forum, so OF COURSE we're going to recommend DVD Architect! It's powerful and easy to use and includes a number of deep features.

Check out the tutorials available by clicking the Tutorials link at the top of this forum to see how it works.

And once you get your new PC, download the free trial. There's a small learning curve, which the Basic Training tutorials will help you through. But once you understand the basics, you'll find you can do pretty much any kind of disc authoring you can imagine with this amazing little program!

Thank you, Steve. Good logic, good answer. I was just looking for some reassurance that I hadn't been given a bum steer, that I was looking at the right type of software. My original search for DVD authoring software produced what ultimately proved to be many wrong suggestions, so I decided to dig deeper. I now rest assured thanks to people such as you.
