LOOOTS of stills, how to?

Hey i have a few thousand stills amking up short still anims. Each anim is about 60 frames. I'm importing those stills to timeline but slowly it gets a bit tedious to manage it all. IS tehre a better way to do it (aside from rendering each anim to AVI) instead of just having huge amount of still sin timeline?

Are you importing them as a sequence of stills?
File>open>still image sequence?

...essentially, it's exactly like DSE just said, but you'll have more explanantions about "how to" in the thread...
And don't forget that with this method, you can click+drag the edge of the clip to adjust your timing... ; )
