Loop Creating in VV

Most of you excepted how TIGHT/SHARP your music can be if you do the editing in VEGAS.
I always build my Drum Tracks (too) in Vegas. I use 2-3 kick drums, snares, hatz, fx mixed and phase aligned together. This concept gives me the freedom of the sound WITHOUT using any serious EQ and Compressor. I can use accents for eg the kick, while the overall sound remains the same. I can shape the WHOLE sound as i want.I can't live without this type of editing...

My friends tell me i'm doing molecular biology on the MUSIC... :)

My problem is :

How can i bulid for eg a 8/4 Drum Loop meanwhile i'm listening (a) whole Chorus take(s). If i bulid the 8/4 loop (and playing cycled)the Chorus repeats in 8/4 too... :(

I know (and i use a lot) two or more Vegas can run at the same time. But is there a special MIDI loopbak prg/function wich sends only start signal, but lets the Vegas programs looping separately?

I don't use ANY sampler - becouse of the MIDI thing.. The TIMING of the MIDI/samplers.. Neighter i use Softsamplers - i do not trust the quality..

I do not use ACID 'couse ther is no SNAP OFFSET - this is VERY handful for me. I love the "pre noizes" of a Snare for eg.
And there is no chance to do auto-crossfade.
One track can play olny ONE wav...

I do not use Loops(grooves) at all (or not in "ACID concept"). So Acid is not for me...

Some ideas?

BIG SHOUT TO THE "S" KEY, AND THE VISUABLE AUTO-CROSSFADE FUNCTION!!

w!
