Problem: I have just upgraded to version 5.0 from 4.0 and I now experience a pop on the loop playback boundary. This was not a problem in 4.0 but it is in 5.0 - My test waveform is a 60 hz wave that has a perfect start/end.
What Ii meant to say is that the mono tone wave that I am trying to loop was created such that the start and end are the exact same location within the sinusoidal (actually the end is -1 sample from the start with respect to a single wave cycle).
FYI -
The problem is that I am using this package as a waveform generator to design and test a 3 phase power moniotring product (along with an Audigy 2NX USB 5.1 audio device) and if I get any waveform distortions at the loopback transition I get false errors reported. I have been using Vegas 4.0 without any problems over several different code revisions (b-e), so I spent all weekend playing with both versions to make sure all the settings were set the same. The conclusion is that I am confident that there is a slight change in how the code handles the loop back buffering in 5.0 versus 4.0.
